Worries And Concerns

Hello, fellow blog readers!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend!

Although I've been hard at work helping my humans pack by scratching on boxes, climbing in boxes, on boxes, walking really slow in front of them while they're carrying something heavy, among other things, I decided to take a break to get this post up today!  I thought I'd dedicate this post to voicing my concerns about the upcoming move!

#1 - Is my water fountain coming with me?

I know my humans have limited space in their trucks for everything but I'm concerned that my water fountain isn't going to make it into the list of "immediate essentials".  In the meantime, am I supposed to drink stagnant water?  Out of a regular bowl?

#2 - Lizards.  Lizards keep me entertained all day!  What will I chase in Ohio?  Mice?

#3 - When we get to our destination how will I go for walks outside?  Apparently, there are places in the US where my paws will freeze if I go outside!  I can't imagine a place like that!  So, I'm a little concerned as to how the weather is going to affect my walks.  Not only by freezing temperatures but I also hear it rains a lot out there.  I lived in the Northwest for about four years, however, I was never allowed to go outside at that time.

#4 - Will I get cold?  With the weather being 85 - 90 degrees of late, will I have enough fur to keep me warm in Ohio's cold climate?

Sorry for the wordy post but I have a lot on my mind!  I'm hoping these issues get cleared up pretty soon.  In the meantime, I'm still helping my humans pack up the house!

  1. Hi Wiley,
Please don't worry your cute little head....everything will be okay. Remember, Alysia and I are "knitters" so we'll make you some boots to wear in the cold.
And I'm sure your water trough will go with you.
Your tall and short humans love you and they will make you as comfortable as possible. They're Marines....and always prepared.
    I'll be thinking of you.
    Love,
    Grandbabka

  2. Dear Wiley,
I would say that last photo looks like you are practicing for that Ohio climate. I am sure your water fountain will be with you but I hear icicles provide water and a fun toy at the same time. Just a thought.
