Hello, my friends....
I say that with a very lethargic voice. Not that I'm not happy to interact with my readers but just because it is so darn hot..... It's too hot to do anything.... even meowing! I've tried to cool off in front of the window:

I even tried to transfer the coolness of the door to my head:
It didn't work, so I tried it the other way:
I also tried to cool off in front of the fan:
Even Maggie is hot!
That's about all the energy I can muster. My humans even commented on my lack of meowing lately. I haven't the energy to meow! I did belt out a couple good ones this morning before the heat of the day presented itself. The mercury is expected to rise to 311.48 Kelvin (101 F) again today. Stay cool, my friends! And to everyone on the east coast, stay dry!

Sounds like it is time to develop a taste for ice cubes, Bella says they are the best when it is hot.
