Grievance #1 Post - Fail

Hello everyone!  And thanks for coming back!  In fact, I've gone global with two page views from Germany!  I wonder what they were really looking for...  I apologize for the late timing of this post and, as you will soon see, lack of content.

Judging by the title, you may have surmised that the forthcoming post is a complete failure.  If you did, you are correct!  This post was going to be about the dry cat food situation here, however my human decided this would be a good time to empty out all my bowls thus destroying the evidence! I go weeks and weeks with crumblies in my bowl and she decides on this particular week to dispose of them?  Coincidence?  I think not!

So, I am going to finish up this post by showing you something I forgot to list in my previous post as one of "My favorite things to do!" One more thing that I absolutely LOVE is sitting next to a heat source.  I think the following pictures will speak for themselves:

We don't have the fireplace anymore but it was AWESOME!

I could go on a tangent about this situation too, but I'll just leave it at this:  If it were up to me that heater would be on 24/7.  Except maybe in the summer because I can get warm in the summer.  But in the winter I'd have that baby on ALL the time.  The problem I have is I always get the old worn out, "It isn't cold enough for the heater" line from my humans.  Isn't cold enough?!  I'd say anything below 80ยบ warrants the use of the heater but no one listens to me.

And when all else fails, humans can work as well:

Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned!

Getting To Know Me Better

Hello, and welcome to my second post!

First off, I would like to thank everyone who came by to visit and read my first post!  If you have ever written a blog you know how much work goes into it!  So please excuse me if I seem a bit hazy today, I only got 20 hours of sleep last night instead of my normal 22 hours.

Next, there is something I'd like to clarify.  You may have observed by reading my profile that I have listed alot of prison break movies as my favorite movies.  I dream of escaping like Ginger in Chicken Run or Andy in Shawshank Redemption and admire them solely for their abilities to escape prison.  I have no plans of murdering or hurting anybody or committing any major crimes.  I just thought I'd clarify that before one of my humans turns up missing and I end up on 48 Hours Mystery accused of a crime I didn't commit.

Before I launch into my healthy outlet of complaints I thought I'd spend a little time with this post so that everyone can get to know me better.  After all, I have to make sure you guys fall in love with me so you side with me and not with my humans :-).  In no particular order, my favorite things to do are:

Sun bathe at the viewing window

Watch movies!

Even I, as a cat, feel like drinking and smoking after watching Mad Men!

Another one is to sleep:

And go for walks!

Chase lizards

Eat food!!
 And eat grass

My humans say I am worse than a horse when it comes to snagging grass on our walks.

Just as a heads up, future posts will feature:

My Very First Post!

This first post is going to be an introduction of myself (Wiley!), my two humans, Jason and Rebekah, my sister Maggie and where I live.
This is me:
I'm seven years old, I currently live in California in a very very small house.  I like to spend my days sleeping, meowing, eating and annoying my humans.  I started this blog in hopes of having a healthy outlet in which to express myself.  I feel like a prisoner in my own home because my humans don't allow me outside unless I'm on a leash (what am I a dog?!), meanwhile they take off and leave me and are outside for HOURS at a time while I get a measly thirty minutes or so a day.  Believe me, I could go on but I'll leave it at that for now.  Please see my profile for a little more info on me!  On with the introductions:

One of my humans is Jason and he is very nice.  If you want something he is the one to go to. He is in some weird human organization called the Marine Corps where he is not at home alot. I hear lots of talk of him going to "the sandbox" as if it's a bad thing. Personally I would love to go to a sandbox so I don't see what the big deal is there.

My other human, Rebekah, can be nice but rather annoying. She's home an awful lot more than Jason, she yells at me when I'm trying to talk or when I scrape my claws on the sides of the kitty litter box and refuses to refill my cat bowl until all the crumblies are gone, but overall she is okay. She helps keep me warm at night when she isn't kicking me in her sleep.

Maggie is my cat sister. Maggie and I get along as one would expect any two siblings to get along. We take naps together, she still sucks on my nipples (even though she's five years old and I'm a boy), and have our fights (she is always hogging the sun at the viewing window), but overall we love each other and she keeps me company when the humans are gone.

In future posts I plan on laying out my hopes for this blog and what I hope to accomplish from it and making some history posts to show my life up until now. Although I am only seven years old I have lived at eleven different addresses in three different states. Such is the life of a military cat!

Furthermore, I plan on showing the daily activities of my life and the injustices I face everyday as I'm forced to live in a 500 sq feet shoebox with two humans and another cat.

Lastly, please excuse my imperfect typing, spelling, and grammatical errors. After all, I am a cat! You try typing with paws!
